Hey Mon, 

A huge, huge thank you to you and your team for everything over the few days that we were in Byron.
From the mezze at the welcome drinks to all of the food at the wedding… everything was beyond expectation.
Your food was a delight to consume – both literally and visually. Ben and I also really loved the reception shared dining, it was all just incredible, so fresh and flavoursome and beautifully presented, and completely flipped the stereotype of traditional wedding catering on its head.
Mostly though, thank you for being so relaxed and helpful throughout it all.  No matter how ’simple’ we had wanted the wedding to be, planning it was such a mission. To work with companies like Seaweed who were so calm and helpful in this process made everything so much easier.
Your team was so great also, please pass our thanks to everyone.  Thanks again Mon, hope to stay in touch.

Who was your caterer and why did you choose them?

 Monique Guterres and her wonderfully team at Seaweed Cuisine catered our wedding to absolute perfection. Immediately after the reception, a selection of canapes were served on the lawn alongside a rustic antipasto table brimming with local cheeses, cured meats and homemade dips. For the reception, we feasted on a three course meal served family-style with dishes including local Bangalow Pork, Tasmanian tarator trout and Vinno Cotto beef sirloin. Guests enjoyed full bar service throughout the day and night.

Our signature cocktails were an apple cinammon martini and bitter peach bellini. In terms of wine, we chose a pinot grigio and pinot noir to match the array of flavours in the meal. We also had a champagne tower which we filled with our favourite Italian prosecco and served or the toast. For supper, we served woodfired pizzas and espresso martinis.

We don’t know where to start? We are so blown away how your whole team were on the same page as all of us. Every single guest made some report back to us about how wonderful your food & staff are.

Your company actually created a vibe that we have never experienced at any event we have ever attended. There was a feeling that each staff member really cared + were all happy.. You could tell you are all a very close knit team that runs like clock work..

All the consulting Pre Wedding was also a positive & every dealing was so informative & stressfree.

The drinks package was divine & expresso martini and finger lime vodka drink was a huge hit..

We can’t thank you enough & you have set the bench mark to all that attended, we feel so blessed & a great start to marriage.

We had the most amazing night.

Can not speak highly enough of Jake – and neither can the guests.

The people with special requirements raved about the attention to detail and felt they were very well catered to. Maggie the one of the waitress’s was outstanding (and funny).

The whole evening just went so well and better than we could have imagined.

Ps. The duck pancakes were talk of the town! And the scallops and prawns…oh and the blue eye cod.

Ok EVERYTHING was off the chain amazing!

Mon!!! We just got back from our honeymoon I’ve been dying to call you and tell you how amazingly talented you and your team are! Absolutely everything was incredible and beyond my expectations. I wanted to take all of your staff home with me, they were always smiling, always happy to help and made everyone feel so welcome plus they were so efficient and looked gorgeous! Your food was to die for!!!!!!!! And everyone commented on how delicious the food was plus so many people I spoke to said that it was the first wedding they’ve ever been to and not left hungry and couldn’t get over the quality and taste of the food and how beautifully it was all presented – so well bloody done!!!!!! I am so happy I could have you apart of our special day and will definitely be booking you again when we come back and stay.
